02 Project Requirements
This facility incorporates a state of the art Ozone Pool with movable floors and swim jets to provide an incredibly flexible and versatile pool experience. Associated with the pool complex are a full Multi Purpose Gymnasium, Cardio Vascular Suites, Assessment Suites and Physiotherapy Department.
The facility is constructed in an area with Grade 2 Listed buildings and gardens noted “As of Particular Importance”. The planning requirement to overcome a number of objections required very low profile solutions.
A condition of the LPA was that the facility was designed to BREEAM Very Good standard. This rating was achieved by incorporating low energy technology and sustainable solutions to the mechanical and electrical services.
